Not many people in the world today are conscious of the appalling atrocities committed by the Russian military against the chechnyan people. One reason for this is due to the sheer callousness and lack of humanity in these self-styled 'urbane' people of the 'developed nations' who would be uptight and concerned only if such an upheaval had had occurred anywhere in the western world. The UNO and the NATO retorted so swiftly to the false 'threat' posed by the WMDs (whose existence was evidently faked by the CIA and other 'Intelligence' sources) in Iraq that they more than willingly sent their troops to Iraq under the malevolence of the USA, which for long had set its vicious eyes on the oil rich wealthy nation. But the invasion of Iraq has in fact clearly been proven more than once as an unreasonable and unfair occupation of a Nation, which scandalously was backed by these 'democratic' nations even as the sophisticated and cultured race of mankind is cruising through the 21st century where the world unwearyingly speaks about international peace and justice. Thousands of Iraqi people have died due to the unjust war forced on their country. Even thoughts of rebuilding their damaged lives have been shattered due to the regular assault on their homes, their schools and even hospitals, thanks to the mayhem wreaked by the USA which is evidently busy drilling oil fields, manipulating the oil production and cash in on the profits by illegal and unconstitutional handling of contracts to oil companies, no wonder a single hospital or a school hasn't been rebuilt since the war ended! Russia has always competed with America in almost every field. Even in the matter of bigotry and viciousness they have proven that they too are not behind America! Consequently, Russia has continued to occupy the oil rich land of Chechnya, and has transgressed all restrictions of humanity to terrorize the Chechen people.
The crimes committed by the Russian soldiers are so horrifying that even a stone hearted sadistic person would be shocked and frightened at the gruesome manner in which the Chechen people are tortured and butchered in their own home land. The Russian government, blinded by its self seeking iniquitous desire of having Chechnya under its tyrannical and unjustifiable command, has bombarded every mountain in the region where the mujahideen fighters have been defying Russian attack. The mujahideen fighters are aware that no one but THE ALMIGHTY ALLAH SUBHALALLAH TAALA can guide them to victory in their virtuous mission of liberating their land, their people and their home from the clutches of the aggressive Russian militia. The mujahideen are not fearful of death since they know that if they die in the path of the ALMIGHTY then they would become a martyr. A martyr has a very dear and revered place in ISLAM. Muslims consider martyrdom as a symbol of triumph against the evil. The struggle for freedom shall carry on until every inch of the Chechen land is liberated from its oppressors. International justice and peace organizations have once again proved to be a sheer disappointment pertaining to the genocide in Chechnya. International Peace Corps and mediators continue to abstain from the Chechnyan turmoil describing it satirically as an internal affair of Russia!
Every single day scores of people in Chechnya are picked up and taken away by Russian forces for 'interrogations', where in reality these unarmed Chechen men, young & old, are tormented & humiliated in the camps & later they are falsely branded as terrorists and finally are butchered in the most ghastly manner. Women in the occupied region have suffered the most. Russian soldiers are guilty of raping hundreds of women, even today women are vulnerable to such crimes by these ruthless Russian soldiers.
These crimes against humanity have not stopped and sadly they will continue until the last of the oppressors are thrown out of Chechnya.
The world has to recognize Chechnya as an independent state and all 'civilized' nations should establish socio-economic relations to help bring up the economy of Chechnya which for long has suffered owing to the illegal occupation and exploitation by Russia.
